The Food Court at Quincy’s H-Mart opened on September 13th this year and is currently offering a 20% discount event until November 24th. The food court is currently receiving high acclaim from shoppers for bringing popular food franchises such as bb.q Chicken, Oh K-Dog & Egg Toast, Tous les Jour, and Gong Cha into Quincy, as well as offering other restaurants such as Boon by Mukshidonna, Hanchon, and Paik’s Noodle that were difficult to access before in Boston; therefore, this food court has been making it convenient to eat the delicacies of Korean Foods.
Choi Yu-na, an assistant teacher who visited H-Mart's Quincy store in the early days of its opening, commends the quality and the flavors of the foods, as she explains how “bb.q. Chicken's soy sauce garlic fried chicken blends well because of the crispy texture of the batter combined with the sweet and salty sauce.” Furthermore, Choi visits Umaikatsu and describes the appetizing flavor of the original tonkatsu, stating, “It is deeply satisfying to combine the crispy fried coating of the tonkatsu with the savory flavor of the meaty sauce.” Moreover, assistant teacher Hong Tae-kyung describes the authenticity of the restaurants: “It was a menu where you could experience the rich taste of our Korean food,” as he refers to the soft bean curd jjigae and the LA galbi set of Hanchon. He adds on by explaining how Boon Mukshidonna's tteokbokki and Hong Kong Banjeom’s jjamppong are “a menu that can be easily enjoyed by overseas customers with reasonably spicy and addictive taste.”
Among the available restaurants, most of the visitors voted that Hong Kong Banjeom’s Black Bean Noodles was particularly the most impressive dish in the food court. Many said that “the sweet and delicious sauce was much better than other Chinese restaurants near Boston,” and even though it was in the early days of opening, all restaurants provided high-quallity foods with visually appealing presentations and deliciousness, leading to great satisfaction. In addition, Tour les Jour and Gong Cha are gaining popularity as desserts. Tour les Jour, a bakery that bakes fresh bread and hand-crafted fresh desserts, along with Gong Cha’s personalized bubble tea, are the perfect options to enjoy a nice dessert after eating a delicious meal. Visitors shared their opinions by recommending the pastry and bubble tea for after-dinner desserts.
The opinions from visitors to H-Mart’s food court, along with their praise for the food quality, also positively evaluated the order methods. Visitors enjoyed the convenient system of receiving receipts and numbers after ordering directly from each restaurant, explaining how “[t]he order method was clean and efficient.” Additionally, the food court was much more comfortable and convenient due to the accessibility of checking the readiness of their food through the screen of a TV, or an audio projection of finished dishes. Visitors also praised the efficient system that only requires them to return the plates to the restaurant after they complete their meal.
